Beatrice Wood (1893–1998) was a pioneering artist, ceramicist, and writer whose influence continues to shape the creative spirit at Besant Hill School. A key figure in the Dada movement, she later became known for her vibrant pottery and unconventional approach to life and art. Her legacy ties together generations of alumni and students, many of whom have been deeply inspired by her philosophy and dedication to artistic exploration.
