Fiona C. grew up in rural Missouri and found her passion in the nature that envelopes the surroundings of her home. Currently attending Besant Hill School as a senior, with the nature that still influences her art along with the artistic passion of those around her. She uses sounds to make art and draws what she sees when she listens to music or even the noises in her head.
Every time I get in the car I turn on Brass Monkey by the Beastie Boys and turn it all the way up until it shakes the car. I close my eyes and see all these colors and shapes and imagine myself gliding across the universe of sound. This wooden car was given to me by my little cousin, and I wanted to reuse it because not only is it more sentimental but it now shows how my family is interconnected with the song itself.
