Nina de Creeft Ward ’52 is a sculptor and printmaker whose work focuses on animals, including endangered and extinct species. A graduate of Scripps College (BA) and Claremont Graduate University (MFA), she was commissioned for a sculpture at Iowa State University. Ward served as an Alumni Representative to the Happy Valley/Besant Hill School Governance Committee before joining the Happy Valley Foundation Board in 2009. At 92, she continues to create and exhibit clay sculptures, drawings, and prints.
