Kevin Wallace is an artist, musician, and writer who has guest-curated exhibitions for major institutions, including LACMA and the Long Beach Museum of Art. He is the author of numerous books and has served as the Director of the Beatrice Wood Center for the Arts in Ojai since 2007. Sean Ponder is drawn to clay due to its basic elemental nature, tactile qualities, and the processes involved: water and earth can be formed and through the process of firing become forms that are both functional and artistic.
