Originally from Bamako, Mali, Moussa Sy, from the class of 2014, studied at Cal Poly Humboldt and San Jose State before earning his master’s degree at Syracuse University. He joined the Happy Valley Foundation board in 2023 and is a collector of African art and textiles. He generously donated this traditional Malian Bambara mask.
