This was a magical shoot! In Theravada Buddhism, monks typically lean on their right side or sleep on their right side due to the example of the Buddha himself. It’s said that when the Buddha lay down, he rested on his right side in a posture known as the “lion’s posture.” This position is believed to promote mindfulness even during rest.
