Alyana Gelfand attended Happy Valley School from 1974 to 1976, where visits with Beatrice Wood sparked her passion for art. A lifelong artist, she has explored various mediums, from oil and acrylic paints to colored pencils and marking pens. Her work now focuses on abstract compositions. In addition to painting, she has had a career as a writer and editor.
