Artist’s statement: “In collaboration with my horse loving friend, and my gothic loving self, we worked together to make this piece. It was the first time I had ever worked with someone else to create art together, and the challenge can be seen in the lines. It was challenging for her as well, for as much as she has drawn and been with horses, she has never taken it upon herself to draw the skeleton of one. The piece is meant to convey an admirable but deadly beast, with an eerily feeling about the strange winged creature.“
